This year I have worked with such amazing people we all had special traits and it just worked. We got it done. Not only did we have great work ethics but we formed such a bond that will last forever! This was a small gift of appreciation, their own report card, Bitmoji stickers and a key chain 🫶🏻

“After a year off, I’m back with a fresh name and a brand-new logo! This past year, I took a step back from the assistant principal role to focus on being a classroom teacher, a mum, and building our dream home, which we’re just a month away from moving into! During this break, I realized that my previous names didn’t truly capture my personality or what I wanted to share with this community. I chose them quickly, feeling rushed, and they never quite felt right. But *Sweet Pea*—now that’s a name that feels like me. It’s warm, charming, and has that touch of sweetness I wanted to bring to my brand. I’ve also reconnected with my passion, especially in creating digital resources and diving into the new curriculum, and I can’t wait to share everything I’ve been working on!”

We celebrated open day today and it was such a success. We set up a few activities in the room and the students were so excited to show their parents around and all their amazing work!

Last year I looked into anchor charts visiting other schools and researching. This year I decided to hit the ground running with it and I don’t think I will look back. The students are so grossly engaged and excited for maths now (as well as me which is a surprise đź¤). I love seeing their little faces light up when they know they have succeeded within themselves. Would love to hear if you use anchor charts and what do you think of them?
