During the week at our OOSH Centre, the kids had a blast with a variety of fun activities! 🎉 Some enjoyed friendly competition with board games, while others got creative making stress balls with rice and balloons or stretching their imaginations with slime-making fun! 🧸✨

Outside, another group had an awesome time making bubbles, and watching their creations float away. 🫧🫧🫧

Puzzle Time Fun at Before School Care!
At our Before School Care, after enjoying their morning tea, the kids love to unwind with some quiet time playing with puzzles! 🧩 It’s a great way for them to start the day, developing problem-solving skills, concentration, and teamwork as they work together to complete their puzzles. It’s the perfect balance of fun and focus before heading off to school!

During last week at our OOSH Centre, the kids had an amazing time with a variety of fun activities! From playing soccer and creating beautiful art & craft to solving puzzles, there was never a dull moment. It’s always great to see our kids stay active, creative, and have a blast with friends!

Do you love flowers? This beautiful activity developed by one of our amazing educators showed children how to make mini flower pots with just playdough, a small cup and a flower. I absolutely love the colours on these ones!🌷🪻🌹

It is so important that we teach the children about our native land. We teach the children in a variety of ways so they can understand and embrace the Aboriginal culture. In this activity, the educator creatively put together a picture frame with a photo that symbolises Australia and by also adding the colours of the Aboriginal flag. 🖤💛❤️

During the week the children at after school care have been engaged and enjoying the centre activities that the educators have provided. We have so many activities and resources so so the children can continue their learning and fun after school. 🥰🌟❤️

Last week, Chester Hill Neighbourhood Centre Inc hosted an exhilarating laser tag event that had children buzzing with excitement. Our newly launched arena provided state-of-the-art gear and a thrilling battleground filled with obstacles and strategic hiding spots. Kids had a blast navigating through the challenges, celebrating birthdays with our exclusive party packages, and creating unforgettable memories with friends. It was a day filled with laughter, teamwork, and non-stop fun!
Moreover, children enjoyed a fun cooking activity focused on making fresh salads. Guided by the educators, they chopped colorful vegetables, tossed crisp greens, and explored healthy toppings. This hands-on experience not only taught them about nutritious eating but also sparked their culinary creativity in a delightful way.🍅🥒🥦🥑

Yesterday was a blast at the bowling alley! We rolled strikes and had an amazing time together. From the excitement of knocking down pins to the friendly competition between friends, every frame was filled with laughter and high-fives. Today was an incredible day at Chester Hill Neighbourhood Centre Inc OOSH as we had a special visit from First Nations people who shared their rich Aboriginal culture with us. It was truly a memorable experience for our children!🦘🖤❤️💛

During the visit, our little ones had the opportunity to learn about traditional dances, stories, art, and the deep connection Aboriginal peoples have with the land. It was heartwarming to see how engaged and fascinated they were, asking questions and participating eagerly in every activity.

At OOSH, we believe in the importance of cultural diversity and understanding. Today's incursion was a fantastic way to foster appreciation and respect for Australia's First Nations cultures among our children.

A big thank you to our guests for sharing their knowledge and traditions with us. We look forward to continuing to celebrate and learn about Aboriginal culture throughout the year!🦘
