This week, in 3S our creative scientists got hands-on with geology as they explored the layers of the Earth using colorful clay! Students learned about the four key layers—the solid inner core, liquid outer core, thick mantle, and outer crust—before rolling, shaping, and building their very own 3D cross-section models. Once their spheres were complete, the highlight was slicing them open to reveal the hidden layers inside. It was a fantastic way to combine scientific curiosity with sculpture, and the students were thrilled to see their earth models come to life! 🌎🥼

🐄🐑 Kindergarten’s Farm Adventure! 🐐🚜
Our Kindergarten students had an amazing day at Calmsley City Farm! From meeting the farm animals and exploring the farm to sharing lots of laughs with their friends, there was so much excitement and learning throughout the day.
We think one of our Kindy students summed it up perfectly…
“This is the BEST day ever!” 🥰

🌸 Celebrating Women’s Health Week at the Community Hub! 🌸

What a wonderful morning of fun, connection and self-care! 💕 Our mums joined us with their children to celebrate Women’s Health Week with a delicious morning tea, fun games and activities, a challenging Women’s Health quiz, and even a little massage and relaxation time with each other!

Mums also received some lovely gifts, generously donated by Karitane, and had the opportunity to learn more about women’s health and wellbeing through trusted resources, including Jean Hailes for Women’s Health.

A beautiful morning filled with laughter, learning, friendship and lots of smiles!

We loved celebrating our amazing mums and women in our school community! 🌷
