YEAR ONE HISTORY ADVENTURES β³π
Year 1 stepped back in time through both their exciting history incursion and excursion to the City Museum in Smithfield! Students explored what life was like in the past by trying old-fashioned handwriting, helping with household chores, playing traditional games, and even churning their own butter. They visited a blacksmith, a general store, and historic homes, bringing their learning to life through hands-on experiences. A special highlight was interviewing their grandparents and hearing stories about what school and childhood were like decades ago. What a wonderful way to discover history and walk in the footsteps of those who came before us! π΅π΄ππ

What an inspiring day at the Sydney Young Writers Festival! πβ¨ Our Year 5 and Year 6 students had the incredible opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business - diving into creativity, storytelling, and the magic behind beloved books. Hearing from authors such as Dav Pilkey (Captain Underpants) and Mike Elliott, our young writers were captivated, motivated, and ready to bring their own ideas to life. We canβt wait to see where their writing journeys take them next! ποΈπ

Please join us in Walk Safely to School Day - Friday 22 May!
Walking every day builds confidence, improves concentration and establishes healthy habits for life - while making our roads safer and our air cleaner for everyone.
Children who are active before school are more focused, more productive and perform better in the classroom.
If you canβt walk all the way, combine a walk with public transport.
If you must use the car, park a good distance from school and walk the rest of the way!
All students will receive a piece of fruit and a wash off tattoo to celebrate the day! Get involvedπΆ
