🎒 Year 5 Take Over Luna Park! 🎑✨

Year 5 had an action‑packed excursion to Luna Park yesterday, combining thrills, teamwork and real‑world science learning.

Students got to experience push, pull and gravity forces firsthand on rides like the Flying Swings, The Tango and Dodgem City, feeling how motion changes when forces act in different directions. πŸš—πŸ’₯

The excitement soared on The Boomerang, the daring Sledgehammer and even the Big Dipper, where students could literally feel gravity, acceleration and centrifugal forces in action 🎒⚑️

They wrapped up the day exploring Coney Island, racing down slides, navigating mirror mazes and taking on physical challenges that continued to show how forces help us move, stop and change direction πŸ€Ήβ€β™‚οΈπŸŽ

It was a fantastic day of learning, courage and unforgettable memories for Year 5 ⭐️

✨ Year 6 Confirmation Candle Workshop ✨

In preparation for this very special milestone of faith, our wonderful Year 6 parents came together in the Parish Hall for a beautiful morning of creativity, connection, and reflection. πŸ•―οΈπŸ’›

Every candidate will receive their very own handmade memento candle for their upcoming Confirmation ceremony, lovingly crafted by our incredible parent community. Families also created their own custom candles from scratch, filling the room with teamwork, laughter and plenty of warm conversation. 🀝🎨

It was a joyful blend of creativity and quiet reflection, offering a peaceful space for mothers to connect and share in the spiritual journey their children are taking. πŸŒΏπŸ’–

🌟 International Day of Play 🌟

Yesterday Villa joyfully celebrated International Day of Play with this year's theme, "Protect play, protect childhood". It reminds us that play is essential to every child's growth, learning and wellbeing.

Our playgrounds, classrooms and outdoor spaces were buzzing with imagination, teamwork and laughter. From creative games to collaborative challenges, our students embraced the spirit of play with enthusiasm and heart. What a wonderful day for our community. πŸ’›πŸ’š

Marcellin Mission Day was a truly special celebration for our school community yesterday. We began the morning with a beautiful liturgy honouring the life and mission of St Marcellin Champagnat, reminding us of the importance of service, compassion, and walking gently with others.
Recess was extra sweet thanks to our cupcake stall, with students lining up to support fundraising for Charitable Works Fund.
It was wonderful to see our students celebrating together, living out the Marist spirit with joy and kindness.
