Year 9 Financial Maths
Students learn the difference between simple interest and compound interest. A key life skill for understanding money, savings, and debt.

It’s also where they begin to see the power of indices in action.

As Warren Buffett said, compound interest is the “eighth wonder of the world.”

But this is often where confidence with equations starts to drop.

This is actually the song I used with my own kids, and it really helped it stick.
