A little quiet over here… but very busy behind the scenes ✏️✨

Term 1 has been all about helping my students settle into new rhythms - from navigating the big leap into high school, to finding confidence with new teachers, classrooms, and expectations.

In between all of that, we’ve been strengthening foundations (hello decimals and place value 👀) and making space for creativity too because learning isn’t just about getting the right answer, it’s about thinking, exploring, and expressing.

Safe to say… we’re back in full swing 💖

From learning milestones to shared laughs, 2025 has been such a special journey. Our last week was full of festive cheer, generosity, and grateful hearts ❤️

I am incredibly proud of my students and thankful to all families for their support. Wishing everyone a restful holiday break and a happy, healthy New Year ✨

It’s Halloween week at Enlight Tutoring where even our ghosts love to learn! 👻💕✨

Learning looks different for every child. That’s the beauty of it! Whether it’s measuring with precision, slicing cheese on toast into fractions, or breaking down big numbers into place value, I meet my students where they are and we grow together from there.

Here’s to curious minds and the joy of discovery! 🌱✨🧠

Chatterboxes aren’t just an origami fortune-teller we used to play as kids. In tutoring, we’re using it to check for reading comprehension. Inside are questions specific to each comprehension strategy. So much fun and learning happening!

We’re well into Term 2 now and have had some beautiful highlights. A parent arrived with their child and told me that they learn more in tutoring than they do in school! This was the most heart warming sentiment I’ve heard - especially since this child had negative school experiences in the past. By providing this student with a safe, supportive and positive space, learning was able to happen. But above all else, this child’s mindset to learning has changed as well as their self confidence. I’m so proud 🥹

We’re at the end of Term 1. I’m so proud of all the learning efforts made this term by my students. Enjoy the school holidays and celebrating Easter with your families 🐣🐰💝

🌟 Term 2 will start Week 1 on Wednesday 30th April 🌟

Term 1 has been filled with a lot of learning and fun. All of my students are hitting the ground running and making amazing progress. I’m seeing growth in confidence, focus and resilience. I’m so proud of my students this term! 👏🏻✨

Back in 2006 when Ms Priscilla was in year 6, she wrote in her yearbook that she wanted to be a teacher. She loved playing school as imaginary play. She loved all of her teachers growing up and she loved the impact they all made. They taught her resilience, creativity, wonder and the power of perseverance. But above all else, they showed gentleness and compassion when guiding her. These are some of the things I bring to tutoring as I teach my own students. Thank you to all the families who are a part of Enlight Tutoring and making this little girl’s dream come true every day 🥹❤️

We are officially coming into our second week of tutoring here. For all my new families and students, welcome! I hope this year is filled with plentiful learning opportunities for growth. For all my returning families and students, I hope you’ve enjoyed your well-deserved break and are eager to get back into learning!

I still have a few times in my week so be sure to message me as soon as possible before those times are gone.
