Mr Butler, you have gone too far.

Without a real NDIS, people are left with failing hospital and mental health systems that are not fit for purpose.

Hospitals are already full, community health can only see a drop in the ocean of those needing support. Where are disabled people meant to get the help they need and deserve?

Cutting costs = shifting costs.

People don’t disappear.
Needs don’t disappear.

The only thing that actually disappears here is the promise made to people with disability that the NDIS would provide lifelong supports.

Foundational supports are a bridge to nowhere.

Shall we reroute the road and drop them off on your front lawn?

The reality and lived experience of kids in pain.....

And there is so much more. The effects are often profound and pervasive, impacting all areas of life for these young people and their families / carers.

We need to talk about it more. Kids experience both acute and chronic or persistent pain. It's real. It's hard. It can be devastating for families. But with the right help and support, kids can learn to thrive.
