๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Athletics Carnival 2026๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Yesterdayโ€™s soggy conditions at The Ridge couldn't dampen the excitement of our annual Athletics Carnival! Our students embraced the challenge with determination and resilience, giving their best in every event while having plenty of fun along the way.

The highlight of the day was the incredible community spirit on display - cheering, encouragement, and teamwork shone through despite the rain. We are so proud of our students for their positive attitudes and enthusiasm!

Well done to everyone who made the day such a success. A special thank you to Mr Lennon and Mrs Rapp for their organisation and coordination of the event, despite adverse conditions! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“šโœจ National Simultaneous Storytime โœจ๐Ÿ“š
Today our Kโ€“6 students joined children across Australia to read Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adrian Lloyd and Adam Jackson. ๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿ’›
Now in its 26th year, National Simultaneous Storytime brings schools, libraries and families together to share the same Australian story at the same time. A fun and meaningful way to promote literacy and a love of reading! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’ซ Sydney Catholic Schools

Today, seven of our Year 6 student leaders had the special privilege of attending the Mary Help of Christians Mass at St Maryโ€™s Cathedral. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ™
Gathering in prayer alongside students from primary schools across the Sydney Archdiocese, we honoured the patroness of Australia and reflected on the importance of trusting in Maryโ€™s guidance, love, and protection.
It was a beautiful and reverent experience filled with a strong sense of community, faith, and spiritual reflection. โœจ

Congratulations to OLMC Burraneer on their thoughtful and evidence-informed response to the growing research around technology use in classrooms. The low-tech approach in Year 7 is already showing early wins including improved focus and retention of learning as well as enhanced wellbeing. We look forward to seeing the continued positive impact of this important work. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“šโœจ
