In the prison cell of Mathura, Devaki and Vasudeva await the birth of Lord Krishna while enduring the cruelty of King Kamsa. When Krishna is born as their eighth child, divine miracles unfold as Vasudeva carries the infant safely across the stormy night to Nanda Gokula. Guided by divine grace, the Yamuna parts and Vasuki protects the child from the pouring rain.
