Father's Day is a holiday honoring one's father, or relevant father figure! Australians celebrate Father's Day on the first Sunday of September every year! We like to wish all the dads, grandfathers and those mums a happy fathers days this coming Sunday 🚘🎮💙

National Science Week Australia is recognised every year in August. The aim of such science weeks is to engage and inspire people of all ages with science, engineering and technology. This week, the children throughout Little land have been exploring new experiments daily in the wold of Science! 🧪🔬🧫

Today, the Adventurers learnt what makes a hot air balloon fly as they have begun their learning of Transport. Using hot and cold water to show the cause and effect of the balloon 🎈 🔥 ❄️

June 8 is World Oceans Day! 🐬🐳🐙🐠🦀

Oceans Day was first declared 8 June, 1992, it was designated by the United Nations as “World Oceans Day” in 2008 – a day to raise global awareness of our oceans.🌊🦑🐡🐟🦞

We at little land would like to acknowledge the Daruk and the Eora people that are the Traditional Custodians of the land in which our childcare is on. We would also like to pay our respects to the Elders both past and present and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are present here today.

National Road Safety Week is celebrated every May. In 2023, it will be held between the 14th and the 21st of May. National Road Safety is an annual initiative to help promote road safety from all of these perspectives, ensuring that people are aware of how they might be contributing to poor road safety, and how to rectify small issues to keep everyone safe. 🚗🚦🛑
