Taking on the state’s best and bringing home Top 10 finishes across the board! 🏃‍♀️💨 Huge congratulations to our Bethany College athletes who showcased incredible talent and determination last Wednesday at the NSWCCC Athletics Championships.

Special shoutout to our stellar performers:

🥉 Alexia M – 3rd in the 90m Hurdles (14.84)

🌟 Lilly M – 4th in the 1500m (5:09.82) & 7th in the 800m (2:32.48)

🌟 Sophie H – 8th in the 100m (13.82)

Year 12 students began their day with beautiful young visitors and Family Educators from St Thomas More Brighton Le Sands, St Finbar’s Sans Souci and St Mary’s Star of the Sea Hurstville.

The students led our Year 12 girls in a beautiful prayer and gifted them with HSC prayer packs which included a Miraculous Medal and prayer cards blessed by Archbishop Anthony Fisher.

Last week our Year 12s took to the stage one final time, battling it out against staff in the Kellerman Week Staff vs Year 12 debate on the topic "That the pen is mightier than the keyboard".
And in try senior-year style....the seasoned Year 12s triumphed!
Huge congratulations to Evie K, our 2026 Co-Curricular Captain, Mandy C, and our School Captain, Elise V - a powerhouse team who have represented the College with excellence in debating for the past six years.

Stepping up with confidence and skill, 3 of our year 11 Hospitality students, Leanne F, Sammy DC and Fiona V, proudly represented Bethany College at last week’s WorldSkills Hospitality competition. In an unfamiliar commercial kitchen and under tight time pressure, the girls showcased exceptional professionalism and culinary talent. A fantastic achievement for these young chefs in the making.

Inspired by the work of illustrator Edgar Artis, they had three lessons to create two unique fashion illustrations - designing a stunning look using non-traditional, alternate items and a creative cutout illustration photographed against different backdrops. Our Junior Girls finished 2nd, going undefeated all day before a tight 1–0 loss to Rosebank in the final an incredible effort from the whole squad.
Senior Girls battled hard throughout the day and secured 5th place.
