Happy Educators’ Day to our amazing Little Foundations team!

On 2 September, we celebrated the incredible educators who bring so much love, care, patience and dedication to our centre every single day.

Our educators were truly pampered by our wonderful families with lots of delicious treats, thoughtful presents, beautiful handmade cards from the children and heartfelt appreciation notes.

We also organised a special lunch for our team to enjoy together and celebrate everything they do.

A huge THANK YOU to all our beautiful families for making our educators feel so loved and appreciated, and an even bigger thank you to our incredible educators for the difference you make in the lives of our children every day.

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful team at Little Foundations ELC.

Book Week Celebrations at Little Foundations ELC!

What a wonderful week of stories, imagination and creativity we had celebrating Book Week at Little Foundations Early Learning Centre!

Our children had so much fun dressing up as their favourite book characters, sharing special stories with their friends and educators, and taking part in a range of exciting experiences inspired by the wonderful world of books.

From colourful costumes and storytelling to creative activities and lots of laughter, Book Week gave our children the opportunity to bring their favourite characters to life while developing a love for reading, language and imagination. 💛

A very big thank you to all our families for the incredible effort you put into the children’s costumes and for helping us make the celebration so special.

We loved seeing the excitement, confidence and smiles on our children’s faces throughout the week!

Here’s to continuing to inspire our little learners to read, imagine, explore and dream! 💫

Australian National Flag Day – 3 September

At Little Foundations Early Learning Centre, we are proud to have our Australian National Flag, Aboriginal Flag and Torres Strait Islander Flag proudly flying together at our service marking 125th anniversary.

As we recognise Australian National Flag Day this week, our flags also reflect our ongoing commitment to reconciliation, respect, inclusion and belonging as part of our Reconciliation Action Plan.

Through everyday experiences, we aim to help our children develop an understanding and appreciation of Australia’s identity and the histories, cultures and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We are proud to see these flags flying together at Little Foundations and to create meaningful opportunities for our children to learn about respect, belonging and our shared community. 🇦🇺 🖤💛❤️ 💚💙🤍

Jeans for Genes Day at Little Foundations ELC!

On 6 August, our Little Foundations community came together to support Jeans for Genes Day, raising awareness and funds for children and families impacted by genetic conditions.

We are so proud to share that, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful families, we raised an amazing $885! 🎉

The children enjoyed a range of fun and meaningful experiences, including designing and decorating their own jeans, creative cutting and pasting, and group discussions about kindness, inclusion and how everyone is unique and special.

A huge thank you to all our families for your generous support. Together, we showed our children how small actions can make a big difference.

Embedding Aboriginal perspective

Dear Families and community members,

At Little foundations ELC we are incredibly excited to announce a meaningful new collaboration with Rheanna Lotter, a proud Yuin woman, Aboriginal artist, and founder of Ngandabaa and Kula Culture.

Beginning Wednesday, 5 August, Rheanna started visiting Little Foundations fortnightly to work with our children and educators. Through art, storytelling and rich conversations, she will guide us on a journey of learning about Aboriginal culture, connection to Country, and the significance of the Darug Country on which our service is located.

On her first visit, Rheanna shared stories about her Aboriginal culture and childhood experiences, introducing the children to the traditional Aboriginal practice of digging for and eating grubs.

This collaboration forms an important part of our Reconciliation Action Plan and extends the learning and reflection we began during NAIDOC Week. We are proud to provide children with authentic and ongoing opportunities to develop respect, understanding and appreciation for Aboriginal histories, cultures and perspectives.

We feel very fortunate to welcome Rheanna into our Little Foundations community and look forward to sharing this special learning journey with our children, educators and families. rouse hill.

Official Statement from Little Foundations Early Learning Centre

“Update: On 31st July, we received confirmation that the NSW Early Learning Commission has finalised its review of Little Foundations Early Learning Centre.

We are pleased to advise that the Commission confirmed our service demonstrated compliance with all provisions of the National Law and National Regulations reviewed in relation to these matters. The concerns examined as part of the review were not substantiated.”

To our valued families and community,

We are aware of ongoing social media posts and allegations concerning Little Foundations Early Learning Centre, our Directors and staff. We categorically reject these allegations as false and misleading.

The individuals responsible are former families whose enrolments were terminated following serious breaches of our Family Code of Conduct and centre policies. Early Learning Commission was notified. Requests for re-enrolment were later declined. Since then, we have experienced an ongoing campaign of false allegations, harassment, personal attacks and attempts to damage our reputation online.

These matters have been referred to our legal representatives and relevant authorities. Due to privacy, confidentiality and legal obligations, we cannot publicly discuss individual matters or respond to every allegation online. This should not be interpreted as acceptance of those claims.

Since opening in 2024, our service has proudly maintained an overall rating of Meeting the National Quality Standard across all seven quality areas, with no enforcement actions or major compliance sanctions recorded against the service.

Our focus remains on providing a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment for every child. We can assure all our families that no child has ever been harmed or disrespected at the centre. All educators are experienced and qualified professionals who strictly adhere to the code of conduct and all policies and procedures.
