Auslan, Sign, Encourage, Play & Conversation π©·ππππ©΅
These five foundations are at the heart of my work as a Deaf Mentor.
Every day, I support families to build connection, communication, confidence, and belonging with their deaf children.
I love sharing Auslan, encouraging children to express themselves through sign, supporting families to learn together, creating opportunities for play, and helping meaningful conversations grow.
There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child gain confidence, discover their identity, and feel proud of who they are.
I feel incredibly grateful to work alongside families on their journey.
I love my job and I am so proud of my beautiful little clients. They inspire me every day. ππ

Hands Only Playgroup has been running for over a year now. It has been wonderful to see it slowly growing within the local community in Sydney, especially for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children 0 - 6 years old.

Iβm so proud that one of my beautiful clients has finished her work with Hands Only Deaf Mentor as she starts school this year. I have supported Amity and her family a lot over the past few years. I will continue supporting her beautiful deaf sibling in the family with Hands Only, how exciting! Thank you, NextSense, for including my name.
