Based on independent analysis of 2025 NAPLAN data published by the Sydney Morning Herald, the school has been ranked second in NSW for overall student growth among top ICSEA quartile schools.

Around 40% of staff are pursuing or hold Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher accreditation - a level of expertise rarely seen in a primary school.

Our Year 3 and 4 geographers loved exploring the bushland and beaches of Nielsen Park today! 🌏🌤️ They curiously investigated Australia’s unique environments through hands‑on activities and discovered the many ways people connect with the places around them! 🌳🔍

Our Year 1 and 2 students have been busy getting creative and learning about where our food comes from and have designed their own “Healthy Plate”! 🍎🥦🍓🥕 From fruits 🍌🍇 and vegetables 🥒🌽 to crafted proteins and grains 🌾 🍚 the plates showcased not only creativity but also a growing understanding of how food is sourced. 👏🏻

Our Stage 1 students had a wonderful adventure at the State Library today, diving into the whimsical world of Pamela Allen. 📚 There was so much curiosity, laughter and wide‑eyed wonder. It was just like stepping into one of her stories. 🤩🐛

Stage 3 had an amazing day out in the city!

Our school leaders began the morning by representing our school at the Our Lady Help of Christians Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral - a beautiful celebration of faith and leadership. 🙏💙

The rest of the cohort headed to the
Art Gallery of New South Wales to explore the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2026, discovering contemporary Australian painting, sculpture and portraiture. 🖼️

Afterwards, all of Year 5 and 6 explored the Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition in the Cathedral forecourt. From Michelangelo’s ceiling to the vibrant history of the Renaissance, students were immersed in a world of creativity and storytelling.🎨

Experiences like today spark curiosity, deepen understanding and bring history to life in the most memorable way. ✨
