🐾Living Safely with Dogs Incursion 🐾

Today, our children enjoyed a fun and educational incursion from the Living Safely with Dogs program!

The children learnt how to safely approach and interact with dogs, recognise when a dog may need space, and ways to stay safe around our furry friends. 🐕💛

A wonderful hands-on learning experience that helps build confidence, awareness and safe behaviours around dogs! 🌟

💙 Thank You Dads and Father Figures! 💙

A heartfelt thank you to all the dads and father figures who attended our special celebration today. It was a wonderful and memorable event, and the children were delighted to honour the superheroes in their lives.

Book week recap!

📚 Book Week Author Visit 📚

Our Book Week celebrations became even more special with a visit from local author Glaiza from My Reading Bubble. Our Preschool and Pre-prep children had the pleasure of listening to Glaiza read some of her latest books and share her love of storytelling.

The children also participated in a variety of literacy and creative drawing experiences that inspired their imagination, creativity, and storytelling skills.

A huge thank you to Glaiza for taking the time to visit our centre and share such a wonderful and engaging experience with the children. We loved having you read with us and helping bring stories to life!

Our little scientists in the nursery room are using water funnels today to explore concepts like colour mixing, gravity and water flow speed.
We will be conducting more science experiments in each room across the week. Watch out this space!

🍋 Making lemonade 🍋
How many lemons do we need to make a jug of lemonade drink? Our Pre-prep children were engaged in this concept as they made lemonade to accompany our Teddy bear picnic. They picked the freshest mint from our garden too ! 🌿

NAIDOC WEEK
Exploring the classic book, How the birds got their colours, to a creative aspect. Our preschoolers created their own birds using all sorts of craft materials. Everyone's envision of a bird is so unique.

🐻 Teddy bear picnic🧸
The children at Papilio were eager to bring their teddies and soft toys today to join for a picnic. Our nursery children particularly enjoyed sitting on the mat and pretending to feed their teddies.
