Guardian Childcare & Education St Ives

Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education St Ives, a new, purpose-built, spacious centre in Sydney’s upper north shore.

Our childhood education programs are focused on play-based learning, and the Centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way. Our St Ives child care centre is conveniently situated for families living in surrounding suburbs Turramurra, North Turramurra, Warrawee, St Ives Chase, Gordon, Gordon Park, Killara and East Killara. Easily accessible from Hunter Avenue and Eastern Arterial Road, our St Ives early learning centre is conveniently located near a number of bus stops, and we also offer undercover onsite parking; making it easier for families during pick up and drop off. Situated near Barra Brui Park, our St Ives day care centre is also in proximity to St Ives High School and St Ives Primary School, providing ample opportunities for excursions into the local community.

A little surprise for Chef Parry! 👩‍🍳
For World Gratitude Day, our Toddlers wanted to do something special for our amazing Chef Parry. They made her a beautiful Thank You card, inspired by all the yummy food and delicious birthday cakes she makes for them.
The children were so excited to take their card over and give it to Chef Parry. A very sweet way to celebrate someone who helps make our days extra delicious! 💛

Piano time with Ms Clare! 🎹✨
Our children have been loving getting stuck into the piano with our very talented Lead Educator, Ms Clare! There have been plenty of little fingers exploring the keys, trying out new sounds and having fun making music together. We think Ms Clare might have a few budding pianists on her hands!

Parachute fun! 🌈
Our children have been having so much fun with our outdoor parachute play, with plenty of running, moving, bouncing and lots of laughter along the way! There’s always plenty of energy when the parachute comes out, and our children love getting involved and playing together. Parachute time is always a favourite!

Meet our new Sustainability Champion, Ms Sarah! 🌿🌏
We’re excited to welcome Sarah into her new role as our Sustainability Champion.
She’ll be helping our children and educators find simple ways to care for our environment, reduce waste, reuse resources and make more sustainable choices throughout the centre.

Keeping Children Safe Together 🛡️💛
Our team recently came together for a staff meeting focused on child protection, child safety and wellbeing.
We spent time talking through our responsibilities, working through different scenarios and sharing ideas around how we can continue to strengthen our practices.
These conversations are an important part of our team culture and help us make sure every child feels safe, supported and respected each day.

Celebrating our special people! ☕🥐
We had a lovely time celebrating Father’s Day and Special Person’s Day at Guardian St Ives, with our wonderful families joining us for a grab and go breakfast!
There were plenty of tasty breakfast treats, tea and coffee to enjoy, making for the perfect little pick me up before heading off to work.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a smile and spent some time with us. We loved having you here and celebrating the special people in our children’s lives!
