π A Warm Welcome from Our Baby Ambassador! π
At Guardian Camperdown, we love making every child and family feel welcome from the moment they join our community.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Baby Ambassador, Sandhiya, who has thoughtfully prepared special welcome bags for all of our new children starting at the service. Each bag includes a welcome letter, a wet bag, and a special keepsake to help families remember their child's very first day with us. β¨
These small touches help create a sense of belonging and make those first-day transitions a little easier for both children and families.
Thank you, Sandhiya, for going above and beyond to ensure every family receives a warm Guardian welcome! π

π¦ Hatch N Grow has arrived at Guardian Camperdown! π₯π¦
For the next two weeks, we are the proud caretakers of 11 duck eggs as part of the program!
Over the coming days, our children will have the incredible opportunity to observe the life cycle of a duck firsthand, from watching the eggs hatch to seeing the ducklings grow and develop before our very eyes. This hands-on learning experience supports children's understanding of nature, science, and the wonder of new life.
There is already a real buzz of excitement throughout the centre as everyone eagerly waits for the first signs of hatching. We can't wait to share this special journey with our families and keep you updated along the way!
Stay tuned for duckling updates and plenty of adorable photos! ππ₯

π Have You Discovered a Street Library Yet? π
As part of our Camperdown Book Adventure, our educators have been placing donated children's books into local Street Libraries for families and community members to discover, enjoy and share.
But what exactly is a Street Library?
Street Libraries are small community book-sharing boxes located throughout neighbourhoods. They operate on a simple idea: Take a book, leave a book, share a book. They help make books accessible to everyone while building connections within local communities and encouraging a love of reading.
You might be surprised to learn there are thousands of Street Libraries across Australia waiting to be explored!
Why not make it a family adventure?
π Discover new books together
πΆ Explore your local neighbourhood
π Support sustainability by sharing pre-loved books

Keep an eye out for a Guardian Camperdown Book Adventure book while you're exploring. If you find one, we'd love to hear from you! Scan the QR code inside the book or email us at [email protected] and let us know where your adventure began.
Happy reading! πβ¨

ππ‘ Reaching for the Stars in Preschool! π‘π
Our Preschool children have been busy transforming recycled boxes, cardboard, paper, and loose parts into incredible creations inspired by the world around them.
Using their imagination, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, the children designed and constructed a towering version of the iconic Petronas Towers and a detailed satellite ready for a journey into space! πβ¨
Box construction experiences like these encourage children to think creatively, experiment with design ideas, develop spatial awareness, and build resilience as they bring their visions to life.
We love seeing the endless possibilities that emerge when children are given open-ended materials and the freedom to create. Who knows what our young engineers and architects will build next? ποΈπ‘
