What a wonderful way to finish our final Playgroup for Term 3!

Our little ones enjoyed Rosary colouring and creating their own decade of the Rosary with their Year 5 buddies.

To finish the morning, our children, carers and Year 5 buddies danced the cha cha together!

It was a beautiful celebration of community and a lovely introduction to the Rosary as we prepare for October, the month of the Rosary. Sydney Catholic Schools

This term, Year 1 have been learning about natural and built features and put their learning into action by designing and creating their very own playgrounds!

Students first planned and designed their playgrounds, thinking carefully about the natural and built features they wanted to include. They then brought their ideas to life by creating detailed models, using their creativity, problem-solving skills and teamwork along the way. 🛝🌳 Sydney Catholic Schools

Today at playgroup, we read Kung-Fu Kangaroo and followed Chops, a clumsy kangaroo who dreams of doing martial arts. The children loved Chops discovering her own unique strengths. It taught us three powerful lessons:❤️ It’s wonderful to be unique.⭐ Being yourself is your greatest superpower.💪 and Never give up on your dreams. Everyone also loved making their jumping kangaroo craft!

Ask your little one tonight: “What makes you a ‘can-do kangaroo’?”

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fantastic morning of reading and fun! Sydney Catholic Schools
