Year 10 participated in the "10:10 Project Conference", an initiative organised by Sydney Catholic Schools. This Conference brought together students from more than 30 schools to excplore the need for improved consent education in schools from a Catholics perspective. It was a dynamic day featuring live music, inspiring guest speakers, opportunities for peer connection and discussion, and meaningful moments of reflection and prayer.

Last night, we proudly hosted a Marist Super Connect event as part of the Marist Youth Ministry program. More than 130 students came together to share a meal, build new friendships and strengthen connections with peers from Marist schools across our region. It was a wonderful evening of community, faith and fellowship.

As our Year 12 students prepare for the HSC, our weekly Study Evenings provide a valuable opportunity for them to receive additional support from their teachers. Through answering questions, refining revision techniques and providing targeted, quality feedback, teachers help students build confidence and maximise their preparation in the lead up to the HSC exams.

Our Year 10 HSIE students recently visited Calmsley Hill Farm, one of the few remaining working farms in metropolitan Sydney. As part of their Stage 5 Geography fieldwork, student explored sustainable farming practices and gained valuable insights into their current topic, Sustainable Biomes.

It was great to welcome so many of our prospective Year 7 students for 2027 to the College for their placement testing. The day provided an opportunity for students to experience our vibrant community and gain a glimpse of the exciting journey that awaits them. We look forward to seeing them again soon.

Earlier this month, Aron S competed in the inaugural Jordan Lane Speaking Competition at the Legislative Floor of Parliament. He performed a 5 minute speech about his ideas on improving Youth Employment and completed an impromptu speech as well. He represented us with pride! Well done Aron. 👏
