Many parents are surprised to learn that at some schools, not every student gets the opportunity to participate in Gala Days. At St Joey's, we love that all students can be involved. It's a fantastic chance for everyone to experience competitive sport, develop their skills and enjoy representing their school, regardless of their experience level.
On Wednesday, our Year 5 and 6 students had a wonderful time at their Soccer Gala Day. Events like these also provide a great opportunity for our Joeys to meet and build friendships with students from other local schools - many of who will become familiar faces when they move on to high school.

Our 'fashionista' teachers have wrapped up Wellbeing week in style!
We had Double Denim, Sparkle Arkle, Christmas in June-ly, and Hoodie & Oodie Day.
The students loved playing along and seeing what the teachers turned up in each day. (It definitely made for some interesting looks at Woolies after school however ๐

Yesterday, these budding authors from Years 3 and 4 headed to Sacred Heart Mona Vale for a Creative Writing Enrichment Day, where they joined fellow young writers from Catholic schools across the Northern Beaches. Awesome!
Opportunities like this are a wonderful reminder of the benefits of being part of the Catholic school community. Through enrichment programs across a range of subjects and year levels, our Joeys are able to explore their passions, extend their learning and connect with students from other schools who share their interests.
