Last Tuesday, Stage 2 Netball Day was a success despite the rain! 🌧️🏐

Our students showed fantastic teamwork, good sportsmanship and had lots of fun! A wonderful day of getting active, supporting one another and enjoying the game. 💙

**Farewell, Father Eliseus**

Today, our staff gathered for a special morning tea to farewell Father Eliseus and thank him for his support and guidance. Father Eliseus also spent time with the students at recess, sharing in their joy and enthusiasm one last time.

As a school community, every student contributed a message to a farewell card, and gifts were presented from our P&F and St Joey’s staff as a token of our gratitude.

We sincerely thank Father Eliseus for all he has done for our school and parish community. He will be greatly missed, and we wish him every blessing and happiness in his next chapter.

Last Tuesday, our Stage 3 Joey’s students had a fantastic day at the Curl Curl Netball Gala Day. The teams enjoyed great success on the court while demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and resilience. We are proud of the way they represented our school! 💙💛

Road safety is a big focus at Joey’s, especially with so many of our students walking and riding to school each day. On Monday, all students took part in the NRMA Science & Road Safety Day- a hands‑on program that helps children understand how to stay safe on and around our roads.
By modelling safe road behaviour, we can make our whole community safer for our kids. 💛
Students explored key safety messages, including: • Buckling up correctly • Wearing and storing helmets safely • Why helmets only protect for one impact • Using the Safety Door • Sitting safely in the back seat • Crossing roads with care • Avoiding driver distractions

There's something special about St Joseph's.

It's in the warm smiles at morning drop-off. The friendships formed in the playground. The parents who share a laugh and lend a hand, the staff who go the extra mile, and the students who look out for one another.

A school is more than classrooms and playgrounds. It's the people who fill it with kindness, encouragement and a shared commitment to helping every child grow.

So, for no special reason on a random mid-term Wednesday, other than to celebrate exactly that, we simply wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for the way you support one another, celebrate each other's successes, and help make St Joseph's such a welcoming, caring community. It's pretty great here. 💙

🎾 It may have been held last term… but the official reveal as to which Colour House took out the Handball Comp overall at Joeys was only just announced.

🔵 And it’s POLDING (Blue) for the massive FOURTH time! Talk about a dominant bunch! 🔵

100 days of Kindy! 🎉💯

100 days of making friends, learning new things, creating masterpieces, losing things, finding things, asking approximately 7,000 questions a day… and having A LOT of fun along the way. 😂

Our Kindy Yellow and Blue students have officially completed 100 days of school, and we couldn’t be prouder of how much they’ve grown already. ❤️

🦴🏛️ Year 2 stepped back in time recently, with a visit to the museum!

From fascinating artefacts to hands-on exhibits, students had the opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life as they explored history, asked thoughtful questions and discovered more about the world around them.

Excursions like these are a wonderful way to spark curiosity and make learning memorable. Well done to our Year 2 students for representing St Joseph's so beautifully throughout the day, and thank you to our staff and parent helpers for making the excursion possible!

Today, we celebrate Australian Primary Principals Day 💕

A sincere thank you to our Principal, Mrs Jones, and Assistant Principal, Mrs Fogwell, for their commitment to our St Joseph's community.

School leadership comes with many responsibilities, often behind the scenes, and we appreciate the time, care and dedication they bring to supporting our students, staff and families each day.
