EXCITING BUILDING UPDATE: THE ST ALOYSIUS OF TOMORROW IS UNDERWAY! 🌟
We are thrilled to share that the first official steps of our campus transformation will begin, paving the way for our landmark new three-story building!
To keep our student services, classrooms, and administration fully operational throughout the build, the project will roll out in carefully planned phases:
⛪ Phase 1: Preserving our Spiritual Heart - College Chapel/Temporary staffroom (Saturday 20 June)
A major priority in our masterplan is the relocation of our College Chapel. On Saturday 20 June the Chapel will be moved to its new permanent home on the Top Oval. This elevated position will provide a serene, central space for prayer and reflection overlooking our vibrant campus.
A temporary staff demountable will be brought onto the site also on Saturday 20 June. This allows us to transition our staff out of the current building ahead of its eventual demolition.
📚 Phase 2: Preparing the Learning Centre & College Office/Street works on Cross Road.(End of Term 2/July Holidays/Term 3)
Before we can demolish older structures, we are relocating our administration and our Learning Centre/Library:
- Temporary Library/Learning Centre: Rooms 31, 32, and 33 will be completely refurbished at the end of this current term to house our temporary Learning Centre/Library.
- The New College Office: Once the temporary Learning Centre/Library is complete, our current Library will be transformed into our permanent new College Office on Cross Road, with fit-outs scheduled for Terms 3 and 4.
- Extensive works will be conducted to expand our College Car Park - including a specific zone for drop off and pick ups off Cross Road, increased parking spaces. Widening of Cross Road directly between our main College gates. Instillation of a pedestrian crossing directly outside of the college on Cross road (another pedestrian crossing will be constructed on Burraneer bay Road). Improvements will also occur at the student entry points to the college and to the new office building on Cross Road.
🏢 Phase 3: The New Three-Story Building
To ensure absolutely zero disruption to our day-to-day student services, work on the new three-story building will officially commence after the College Office has moved into its new permanent home on Cross Road. Demolition of the existing Administration block is planned for the Christmas school holiday period.
We are incredibly excited to see these vital infrastructure projects come to life!
Thank you to our entire community for your support and patience as we build an even brighter future for the students of St Aloysius College. 🪵🔨✨

AN INSIGHTFUL STAFF VISIT TO ST MARY'S CATHEDRAL ✨
A group of our dedicated St Aloysius staff members had the wonderful opportunity to visit the spectacular Sistine Chapel Exhibition currently on display at St Mary’s Cathedral.
This breathtaking exhibition brings Michelangelo’s iconic masterpieces to life in stunning, high-definition, life-sized detail. It was a deeply moving experience for our staff, blending profound spiritual reflection with a celebration of world-class art history.
Opportunities like this allow our educators to continually enrich their own faith and knowledge, which they bring right back into our College classrooms to inspire our students.🙏💙💛

A wonderful early game and tough win for our U15 Girls AFL team this morning against a spirited and talented St Scholastica’s College.
With only 14 players on the field, there was a lot of running so effective hand balling and taking marks were crucial.
The girls came away victors 27-14 and now move onto the Greater Sydney Championships.
Congratulations girls
