DID YOU KNOW? - Lead's Coaches Corner

Contrary to regular belief, NCLEX does not have a passing score. It is a COMPUTER ADAPTIVE EXAM and will assess you as you go about each and every item. It will evaluate the following:

1. The trend on how you answer.
2. The consistency of your responses.
3. How you maintain the complexity of questions.

With this here are some myths about NCLEX that some might tell you in social media:

1. You can pass if you have a final exam for a review with at least 60 item correct - This is false in a sense that the exam is a non-linear one, meaning your answer in the previous number will decide the difficulty, form and even the content of the next question. Unlike written exams you can never know what is next in NCLEX.

2. There is a trend in NCLEX and our review center knows what is coming out - This is probably one of the best marketing strategy out there but could be very dangerous for the candidate. For one the question bank of NCLEX was never released and since it is computer adaptive, no two exam are ever the same thus there is no possible way you can identify the trend. Candidates should be very wary about this since there no truth whatsoever on this type of pronouncement.

3. With a few amount of cash, we can set the questions you will take in NCLEX - This is an OBVIOUS SCAM and had victimize countless candidate years. The questions in NCLEX is only being supplied by NCSBN member organizations and is under a secured system with a sophisticated AI as an added security barrier. Do not fall for this EVER.
