Mackellar Girls Campus - Northern Beaches Secondary College

Our two stunning contemporary ensembles are prepared to take the stage this week at the 2026 Sydney North Public Schools Dance Festival, alongside more than 3,000 public school students from the region.

This year, their performances, ‘Suit And Swing’ and ‘Pulse To Pattern’, have been choreographed by former students, Stella Mackenzie and Heidi Monahan, who were both recognised on the HSC Top Achievers List for Dance.

We wish our dancers all the best for their performances and commend them for representing our school with such professionalism and commitment.

Congratulations to our Under 16s team on their incredible State Championship victory!
Competing against all schools in the state (public, private and sport schools), our students demonstrated outstanding skill, determination and teamwork to come out on top. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, commitment and resilience throughout the season.
We are so proud of this remarkable accomplishment and the way they represented our school.

Congratulations to the cast, band, and crew of the Mackellar Musical Production – Hadestown, who closed out an incredible run of shows last night to standing ovations and rapturous applause!!

It was an outstanding production of the highest quality. The cast consistently delivered incredible performances, leaving audiences amazed and even bringing some to tears through their heartfelt portrayal of this story.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the production. The students worked unbelievably hard to bring it to life, and we are immensely proud of what they have achieved!! 🌹⭐️❤️

There’s no place like… the Mackellar Performance Space on a Tuesday night?

Come and watch Dorothy re-write her story and ignore the yellow brick road, much to Glinda's dismay. The Wicked Witch of the West, on the other hand, is stocked with the new story that saves her from her watery fate.

Year 11 Drama take you into a world of fun adventures and make you question the story that you know and love, in their production of The Wizard Of Oz: The Deleted Scene.

Last night, a select group of students from the Vocal Ensemble had the opportunity of a lifetime to perform at one of Australia's most iconic venues - The Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. This annual concert series features a massed choir of secondary students drawn from schools across the state, performing alongside the NSW Public Schools Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra and Singers. The students were lucky to get to perform with acclaimed Australian musical theatre performer Lucy Durack - best known for originating the role of Glinda in the Australian production of Wicked. Another amazing opportunity for our students!
