The UOW and I are researching the WHS experience of delivery and rideshare gig workers to help them have improved outcomes. We need gig worker help.

I’m a workplace safety researcher from the University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia, hoping to make your workplace safer. A safer workplace can only happen through us collaborating on research, and I would be delighted if you could help me by participating in the online survey or sharing this page with your friends who may be interested. The safety hierarchy of gig sole trader.
Workplace safety was once the domain of engineers, where the theory of fly, crash, fly; was used in flight exploration with telling consequences. Now we all have a hierarchy of controls. Where seeking first to eliminate hazards and risks is followed by substituting or isolating them and finally controlling them with engineering. But just how many gig service providers or sole traders know this and treat their residual risk with administration and PPE; is an answer this survey seeks to understand.
