Narwee Preschool Kindergarten hosted 2 “I can EAT a rainbow” programs this morning- with another 2 to come on Thursday! We had a lot of fun talking about colourful fruits and veggies we can add to our lunchboxes- and how the different colours give our bodies superpowers!! 🦸 🌈🍅🍊🌽🥦🫐🍆🧅

At Narwee Preschool Kindergarten, we had a visit from Healthy Harold

Harold’s Big Feelings is one of Life Ed’s modules supporting preschool children to build social and emotional wellbeing skills and knowledge.

The program focuses on emotional literacy, emotional regulation, friendship, connection and seeking help.

The children engaged in discussions, singing, dancing and storytelling! 💚

The theme for National Reconciliation Week is 'Now More Than Ever'. A time for Australians to learn about our shared histories, culture, and achievements, and to explore how we can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

What an exciting week the Dragon Training Mobile Zoo visited our Preschool!!

The children were so excited touching and meeting reptile animals such as Frill-necked Lizard, Blue Tongue Lizard, Magnificent Green Tree Frog, Salt-water Crocodile, Snapping Turtle, Albino Darwin Python, Shingle-back Lizard and Jungle Python.

Thank you for introducing all the mysterious creatures to the children.

Narwee Preschool were very fortunate to have Riverwood Fire and rescue visit our preschool. The children were so excited to meet the brave superheroes!

Children had a blast learning fire safety and allowing children take turns in using the hose to save pretend fire. We are thankful for our firefighters and all they do for our community.

On the 6th of February 2024 we would like to express our thanks once again to Bayside NSW Men's Shed for fixing Narwee Preschool furniture and toys.

Yesterday we had a visit from the Taronga Zoomobile. This was a wonderful opportunity to meet, learn about and interact with Australian animals as well as learn lots of interesting facts 🐍🐢🐸🦎.
