🧺🪺🐰 EASTER EGG HUNT 🐰🪺🧺

The Easter festivities were still in full swing this week as the children engaged in an Easter egg hunt!

We were graced with a special visit from the Easter bunny who placed various chocolate eggs around the classrooms for the children to find!

Our children were SO excited and did so well being fair and helping each other!

Our Senior Nursery enjoyed a sensory play dough experience as we finish up our Easter activities!

Bright green play dough mixed with colourful and cute Easter sprinkles- what could be better!?

Just look at their little hands exploring the dough and working out how to make the shapes! 🥰

Our Prep room enjoyed exploring a beautifully presented sensory tray for Easter!

They were given various utensils to use to work further on their dexterity, coordination and balance, as they scooped and poured and collected items using the tweezers!

Our Nursery children enjoyed some Yoghurt painting with various pastel colours!

Educators have been trying very hard to use more recycled materials for provocations and art works, and a lovely family donated many items to us this week which we couldn’t wait to use!

Our little bubs absolutely LOVED getting messy, squelching and spreading the yoghurt paint everywhere (including on themselves and each other 😅)

As it’s Easter week, our toddlers worked hard in their bakery as they made some hot cross buns using play dough and natural materials including bark to represent “raisins” and “chocolate chips”, and sticks to make the crosses on the buns!

Throughout this experience the children worked on their manipulation, dexterity, creativity and grew an understanding of copying patterns with provided imagery!

Our new autumn menu is filled with comforting, wholesome meals designed to support your child’s wellbeing and growing appetite.

And yes... we’re often told children try foods here they won’t touch at home 👀

Big feelings can be loud, exhausting, and sometimes arrive at the worst possible moment 🌻

OUR TODDLER ROOM ✨

At Milestones Moorebank, we thrive to make our environments look homely and welcoming, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

We are very particular about the way our centre and provocations are prepared and executed, and take pride in the amount of time and passion that goes into this.

Our Toddler Room caters for children between the ages of 2 years and 4 years, and holds 30 children per day.
