The children enjoyed a nature hunt at the park. They excitedly searched for leaves, flowers, and other treasures, then glued their collections onto paper, creating unique and colourful nature pictures🍀🍁🌹🪸🍂🌱🌿☘️🍃 An experience planned around their growing interest in collecting natural items during our previous visit

By exploring nature, collecting natural items, sharing petals, and reflecting together, children deepen their sense of connection to their environment and to each other❤️🌹👩‍❤️‍👨

I love how we can build lasting relationships with families and children in family day care, and still meet up occasionally even after they've left🥰💕

Halloween 2024!👻

- The children started off the week making orange and black play dough. They explored and experimented with different colours in order to create a new colour, helped developing critical thinking and creativity.

- Baking the Halloween cookies. Built a range of valuable skills such as; math and science, fine motor, language and communication, teamwork and social skills.

- Witch’s Brew Halloween Soap Foam Sensory Bin. Developed the motor skill using the utensils to create the foamy water.

- Explored with the light and shadow through the rotating bat projector light.

- Had fun dressing up in the Halloween costumes!

So happy and appreciative to have received nominations as the Family Day Care Australia Educator Of The Year for 2024! This is 3 of the 5 years in operation and it's an honour. Thank you to all of my families past and present!🥰

At Pam’s FDC this week, the children broadened their experiences as they participate in the community🏡
🌸They connected with nature as they visited the park, watching the birds and flowers and observing the things around them🍀🍁🌹🕷️🐜
👩‍❤️‍👨They bonded their relationships as they engaged in the play ground area, and learned about sharing, as they took turns on the swing🎠🎡💕
📕They also visited the library, meeting new people and reading some good books📚

The children had fun celebrating Halloween through multiple experiences. Happy Halloween!👻

The children celebrated Family Day Care Week by participating in The Biggest Morning Tea, hosted by Inner West Council. They enjoyed a story time called ‘Mr. Prices Pet Emporium’ read by special guest author, Millie Lewis. They also had fun dancing at the Teddy Bear Disco with a group of children from other Family Day Care and educators.

Attending the community event was a beautiful way for the children to broaden their friendship with others and build on their own social experiences.
