✨ EDUCATION WEEK ✨

Thank you to all our families who joined us for Open Day, Book Parade, Book Fair, creative arts performance groups, open classrooms, and picnic lunch on Wednesday. It was fantastic to see our students and teachers’ imagination shine in the parade, performances, and throughout the classrooms. Your enthusiasm and support made this special celebration even more meaningful.

We loved seeing everyone connect, enjoy the creative talents on display, explore new books, and share a picnic together. Thank you for being part of our vibrant school community!

On Monday, our Stage 2 and Stage 3 Soccer Teams competed in our Soccer Gala Day. All Parklea teams had a great day with a fun competitive spirit shown throughout. We would like to thank all parents and supporters who cheered us on during the day!

Last week, our Stage 2 Choir students attended the combined rehearsal for the Blacktown Festival of Performing Arts. It was a fantastic opportunity to rehearse the full repertoire alongside students from other local schools who will be performing with us.
The excitement is building, and we can't wait to take to the stage! If the rehearsal is anything to go by, our performance is set to be amazing. We are so proud of our students' enthusiasm, teamwork, and beautiful singing. Stay tuned!

Last week Year 4 enjoyed their excursion to Centennial Park. Students engaged in hands on and play based activities relating to Maths and Geography. Through the use of the BOLT framework (Border, Orientation, Legend, Tile, Scale, Source) they participated in a scanger hunt and used eco art maps to explore the local habitat within Ian Potter Children’s WILD PLAY Garden.
