On Friday, our staff gathered at Holy Family for this year’s Staff Spirituality Day, thoughtfully led by our wonderful REC, Mrs Koszek and our wonderful Family Educator, Mrs Leva.

Sydney Catholic Schools continues to guide us through the ‘Head, Heart, Hands’ approach to staff faith formation — and this year we embraced the Hands. This focus invites us to live our faith through service, generosity, and meaningful action. It reminds us that when we give freely of our time and resources to support those in need, we glorify the Lord through the work of our hands.

We were blessed to welcome several local parishioners, whose presence added a beautiful sense of connection, shared mission, and community in faith. A day filled with reflection, service, and heartfelt interaction.

Our Year 3 students had an amazing day on Thursday exploring heat, solids, liquids and gases with Ranger Jamie at beautiful Gunnamatta Bay. This hands on day brought our Material World science unit to life, giving students the chance to see real world experiments, investigate state changes and dive deeper into how materials behave when heated or cooled. A wonderful day to end the school term!

Another beautiful weekend for our school community. On Saturday night and again on Sunday morning, some of our Year 3 students received their First Holy Communion - a milestone filled with reverence, pride and so much love.

Thank you to our families, teachers and parish team for surrounding our students with encouragement and prayer. Moments like these stay with them forever.

Today our two school communities, Holy Family Primary and Aquinas College, came together for a beautiful celebration of our HSC Prayer Pack Liturgy. It was a meaningful moment of connection as our Year 6 students, who were the Year 12s’ original buddies, created thoughtful prayer packs to encourage and support them as they continue preparing for their exams.

Thank you to Fr Mani for joining us, leading our liturgy, and blessing both our students and their prayer packs. A warm thank you also to the dedicated staff from Holy Family and Aquinas College for their organisation and care in bringing this special afternoon to life. It was a reflective and heartfelt gathering for all.

Last night we celebrated our annual Newman Symposium, showcasing the wonderful things our students participate in, here at Holy Family.

We had a wonderful afternoon with open classrooms for all and a yummy sausage sizzle. Our Stage Two amadeus students also showcased their musical talents.

We then enjoyed a fantastic evening where our Newman students presented their many talents, from choir, to our rockband, to our dancers and our STEM mad and shark tank students; everyone enjoyed watching our students shine.
