As we celebrate this festive season, it is also a reminder to pause in the midst of all the shopping, preparing, planning, cooking etc.. and give YOURSELF a gift, a gift of presence. Take a moment to reflect on all your achievements, successes, no matter how small or big – count and CELEBRATE YOU!!!

Do you distrust in yourself?
Looking to others to give yourself approval, acceptance or advice?
This can be a natural process, seeking validation from others....
HOWEVER
The one and only true person to trust is YOU - trust yourself, trust the process, you’ve got this!!!

Recently I’ve had several people say they feel “safe” with me.

I felt honored and a sense of warmth arose in me.

“Safe” – I felt so touched by that word

For a long time I didn’t know what the meaning of the word was

Fear, I knew so well

Fear was my survival strategy, it protected me in a funny way

It taught me to distance myself from people

The fear inside of me didn’t allow people in

The fear inside of me held great distrust

The fear inside of me consistently looked out for the worst in people

Until I made friends with my fear and saw how I used it to protect me, I started to give fear a new meaning

I saw the opportunity to give myself more compassion

I leaned into believing what I am truly capable of – creating a story that I am successful

I leaned into giving myself the self-love I truly deserve, honouring me for who I truly am, allowing me to be me and feel into the truth that I am

I leaned into trusting myself – trusting that no matter how many times I fall down, I will get up more stronger than ever before. Resilience right by my side

I feel safe with me and as I feel safe with me, I have opened up for others to feel safe with me too ❤

Give to self first
Fill up your love engine
The love engine to instant healing

Self love, self soothe, self compassion

Appreciate all you are
Mistakes, flaws and all
Acknowledge you are human
Human errors are the way of life

There is no right or wrong way of being

When your love engine is full....
...let the overflow pour out to others
from here equanimity takes place
Balanced in the field of energy

Together we are one, we are whole

Fear is one of the biggest killer of dreams.

Fear is creating a story based on the worst possible thing that could happen in the future. And what’s worse, is that your mind is making it all up!

Create a story from the present moment, what is true and real now.

I have travelled to 72 countries
So many different cultures experienced
So many different cuisines tasted
So many different dances danced
I met so many lovely people
But something never felt right
Something was still missing
It wasn’t until I stopped and realised I was running away from being with me
Yes, the travelling was beautiful
BUT….
I wasn’t present to my body
I wanted to explore the world
I wanted to see and do it all
I did so much in a short space of time
It was when I got in touch with my body I learnt to slow down
I don’t need to run away from being with me anymore
I found home and it has been with me all along

Having an expectation is holding a belief that something must happen a certain way - relying on conceptual ideas and what is happening outside of you to meet your needs. This can lead to putting judgement on yourself when your expectations are not met.

What would happen if you had no expectations? What would happen if you set a goal and be ok with whatever the end result is? What would happen if you are present to the moment to enjoy the experience and simply go with the flow?
