As a part of the Sydney Catholic Schools community, we are all united by a shared mission to provide Catholic education deeply anchored in faith, marked by educational excellence and accessible to all who seek it.
Inspired by the beauty and symmetry of the rose window of St Mary’s Cathedral, the new Sydney Catholic Schools logo shifts the focus from Sydney’s iconic landmarks to the spiritual heart of the Archdiocese which connects us.
It lives in our students, our staff and our families across Greater Sydney and is reflected in the way we learn and walk together.
With Christ at the centre of all that we do, this renewed expression reflects who we are as a community of communities, based in our traditions but looking boldly to the future.

Our Year 5 students set off on an exciting excursion to The Rocks, stepping back in time to explore Australia’s rich colonial and Indigenous history.
Students wandered through secret laneways, discovered Indigenous heritage and listened to stories of convicts, settlers and early migrants. It was a wonderful day of learning, exploration and history coming to life! 💛

🏛️ A day of history and discovery in The Rocks! 🏛️
Our Year 4 students explored The Rocks as part of the Ranger Jamie First Contacts excursion, learning about Sydney’s early history and the lives of convicts who lived and worked in the area. At Observatory Hill, students took in the views of the city and drew what Sydney looks like in 2026, comparing it with what the landscape looked like before European settlement.
A fantastic day of exploring, learning and bringing history to life! 📚✨
