We warmly congratulate our Year 3 students as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time this Sunday 🍷🍞. This is a very special milestone in their spiritual journey, and we keep them, along with their families, in our thoughts and prayers during this meaningful time.🙏🏼

Yesterday we went and we gave it our best at the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 3 Athletics Championships at Homebush. Mater Dei is so proud of all your efforts on the track and on the field and most of all for representing our school with pride and great sportsmanship. Good times, great memories made.

🌟 Student Shout Out! 🌟
Three of our chess superstars recently competed at the ICC Local Heat at St John Vianney Chess Tournament and they were incredible! ♟️🔥

🏅 Thomas delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 5.5 points and finishing in equal 2nd place overall
💪 Christian put in a strong effort, scoring 4 points
✨ Stella showed amazing determination, securing 2 points

Together, they spent the whole day battling it out across seven rounds!!! Their teamwork earned our school 4th place in the overall standings! 🎉
We are so proud of Thomas, Christian and Stella for representing our school with such skill, courage and heart 💛

Tomorrow is the last chance to order books from our visiting author Nat Amoore. As part of our book week activities Nat will be visiting our school on Friday 14th August. Students who pre order books will be able to have them signed on the day. What a fantastic opportunity for our Mater Dei students 📚📖✍️ nat_amoore

🎉💯 100 Days of Learning! 💯🎉
Our Kindergarten students celebrated a wonderful milestone — 100 days of learning! 🌟📚 Dressed as their “100-year-old selves,” they brought lots of smiles to our school community 😊👵🧓.
Students proudly paraded, enjoyed a range of fun classroom activities, shared what they can now do after 100 days of learning and performed a special song for the whole school 🎶❤️. A highlight of the day was a visit from Fr Thomas, who joined in the celebrations and helped make the occasion even more special ⛪💚.
We are so proud of how much they have grown — 100 days smarter, braver and wiser! 🌱📖👏
