This Sunday the 5th of September is Fathers Day. This is my dad and I when I was, way, way, way younger.

My dad is someone who I always looked up to, he taught me how to stay grounded, be thankful for what you have and instilled in me to have a little chutzpah (nerve) in different situations that may arise in life.

Due to covid I haven't seen my dad in almost 2 years and miss him very much. Wishing my dad and all the other dads around the world a very Happy Fathers Day. I can't wait for when I get to see you in the flesh. I pray and hope that it is very soon.

As the summer holidays come to an almost end, I am feeling relaxed and rejuvenated for the new school year. 🌸

I can’t wait to meet my new students and introduce some new ideas I have been working on in the holidays. 🌈

These activities will include subjects on mental health, emotions, self esteem, empathy and all round wellbeing. 🤗

Working as a teacher has been a passion and dream of mine since I was little. 👧🏾

I love seeing the moments when a child becomes more confident 💪🏽 and believes in themselves when it all comes together for them with their educational 📚 challenges or goals they have set for themselves.

It is especially wonderful 🌈 when their parent notices 👓 this change and they too are filled with joy, that their child 🧒 has achieved their goal 🥅 and we have worked together as a team to get there. Working together with parents is essential for their child’s success and what I call “team work”!👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👩🏽‍🏫
