Talk about being busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Teaching in 2022 is HARD work. If I could offer to take one work related thing off your hands, what would it be?

Ever increasing paid working commitments and personal priorities has meant that the gals at TC haven't been able to produce a podcast in quite some time! We've really enjoyed our chats and helping teachers to learn a little more about each other, and letting them chat about their work and be appreciated for the important work they do... which is why it's so hard to say goodbye!

Yes, we are hanging up our headphones and unplugging the mic (so to speak) and ending the Teacher Chatter podcast. If there's an episode or two that you want to download and keep, I'd suggest heading to https://lnkd.in/gHeK5Xj and downloading it to your local device before the hosting ends, in a few months.

As you can imagine, it becomes an expensive venture to do this without a sponsor, and it's hard to get a sponsor when you can't produce new material, and it's hard to produce new material when you have hefty work and family commitments! A vicious cycle, indeed.

So thanks for spending your time with us, we've enjoyed every second of it! Keep safe, keep well, and look after yourselves and each other.

Ciao For Now!

I don't know about you all, but for me, getting 100 hours of quality (and inexpensive) Professional Development isn't as easy as I first thought. There are loads of courses out there, but not a lot that I found I could get my 'teeth' into.

Introducing Michael Griffin. He runs online Professional Development courses and he is REALLY interesting, and his courses will give you practical advice, timely reminders about mind-set and and will give you some fantastic ways to work with the students in your class.

Listen to our chat here: https://www.buzzsprout.com/826696/5991454 and discover his offer to all Teacher Chatter listeners! YAY!

Our chat with Melinda Gindy, the President of the Australian Association for Education Gifted and Talented (AAEGT), will reignite your passion and excitement for teaching, especially for teaching exceptional (and twice exceptional) students. Melinda speaks to us about students with diverse and special needs, and regardless of what grade you are teaching or subject you are delivering, this podcast is a must-hear. Enjoy

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we need to adapt and change to life at the blink of an eye. Change is as good as a holiday, so they say, and Laura and Rita are in desperate need of a holiday! Seeing as that’s a dream for us right now, we’ve decided to change our interview format for 3 episodes of Teacher Chatter, just for something different!

We thought that rather than having one guest per episode to chat with us about their life passions, their expertise and experiences, we would invite multiple guests to share their response to a single topic. So we’ve decided to create 3 podcasts, about 3 relevant and timely topics, and invite many speakers to voice their opinions and knowledge on the topic!
