Did you know breastfeeding is more than just nourishment? 🍼

It’s actually your baby’s first full-body workout — helping to build strong jaw muscles, support head control, shape the palate, and even strengthen their breathing!

In this post, I’m breaking down how breastfeeding supports your baby’s oral and facial development — from their cheeks and tongue to their neck and airway. 💪👶

So if you’re curious about how each feed helps your baby grow stronger (and sets them up for things like chewing, speech and nasal breathing), swipe through 👉

✨ I love helping parents understand the why behind what they’re doing — because when you know better, you feel more confident.

If this helped you, save it and share it with a fellow parent 💛

Did you know that a simple change can make a huge difference to your baby’s sleep?☀️

💤Before I tell you what that is follow for more tips! .and.blossom

It’s sunlight! Natural light exposure in the morning helps set your baby’s internal clock (aka circadian rhythm), making it easier for them to fall asleep and stay asleep at night. 🌞

👶🏻When to lower your baby’s mattress?

The short answer is when they start to show signs. There is no ideal age or height your little one needs to be.

Some signs you will start to see are:

✨ When they are standing in their cot
✨ When they are sitting on their own
✨ Wheb they climb out of their cot
✨ When they start to roll

The more mobile and more skills they develop the lower the cot should go. Most cots that meet standards have several height levels.

A general rule for cot levels:

💫 Under 4mo old: Highest level
💫 5-8mo old: should be on medium level
💫 +8 mo old: on the lowest level

When did you decide to lower your little one’s mattress?
