๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿข Ocean Sensory Play ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿชผ

Our little explorers dove into an exciting ocean sensory experience! Through hands-on play, the children discovered a variety of sea creatures, explored different textures, and used their imaginations to create their own underwater adventures.

Sensory play encourages children to develop their fine motor skills, language, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while fostering curiosity about the natural world around them.

What a wonderful way to celebrate and learn about our amazing oceans! ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒŠ

Getting ready for the next step ๐ŸŽ’โœจ

Our school readiness program focuses on building confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Through play-based experiences, children are developing important skills like communication, problem-solving, and early literacy and numeracy.

Weโ€™re so proud of our learners as they grow, explore, and continue preparing for their next chapter ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ Reconciliation Day โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค

On Monday at East Hills Childcare Centre, we came together to acknowledge and celebrate Reconciliation Day. Through art, conversation, and exploration, the children engaged in experiences that honoured Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.

As educators, we are committed to fostering respect, understanding, and appreciation for the world's oldest continuing cultures. By embedding Indigenous perspectives into our daily practices, we help children develop a sense of belonging, inclusion, and connection to Country.

Together, we continue to learn, listen, and walk the path of reconciliation.

Show & Tell moments ๐ŸŽคโœจ

Today our children proudly shared their special toys from home, building confidence as they spoke in front of their peers and listened to one another. From favourite teddies to treasured cars, each item brought stories, excitement, and connection.

Experiences like this support communication skills, turn-taking, and a strong sense of belonging within our group ๐Ÿ’›

Lest we forget ๐ŸŒบ

Yesterday, our children took a moment to learn about the meaning of ANZAC Dayโ€”honouring courage, kindness, and remembering those who served. Through simple conversations and creative experiences, we help build respect, empathy, and understanding from a young age.

We will remember them โค๏ธ
