Our educators intentionally supported the children to explore and recognise different colours through a fun, hands-on learning experience. 💜💚💛❤️💙

Using colour cards, rainbow resources and open-ended questions, educators encouraged the children to identify, name, match and compare colours, extending their vocabulary, thinking and problem-solving skills. 🧠✨

Through intentional teaching, we build on children’s existing knowledge and create meaningful opportunities for them to explore new concepts while learning through play. 🌱💕

Our little chefs had so much fun creating colourful rainbow cookies to celebrate all the amazing dads and special people in their lives!

From mixing and decorating to adding their own special touches, every cookie was made with little hands and lots of love.

🔷 Numeracy – Shapes 🔺

Children developed their numeracy skills through a hands-on shape-matching activity. They explored a variety of shapes, including circles, triangles, hearts, squares, and other geometric shapes, while matching the wooden pieces to the corresponding shape cards. 🟢⬛️💗

This activity encouraged children to notice similarities and differences between shapes, build their shape-recognition skills, and use mathematical language such as round, sides, corners, big and small. 🔺🟢⬛️💗

Our little learners enjoyed a wonderful hands-on farm experience, exploring and matching different farm animals and familiar farm objects. The children excitedly dressed up as their favourite book characters, bringing their beloved stories to life! 🦸‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐰✨ Our educators joined in the fun too and dressed up as book characters, making the day extra special and memorable for everyone! 👩‍🏫🎭💕
