6 years ago, I found myself completely alone. No family, no friends, in a foreign country, with no job and no place to live. I moved into a hostel, in a room with 3 bunk beds and 5 women.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was so out of my comfort zone and felt ashamed. But looking back, it became one of the most important chapters in my life. Over 3 months, I realised how significant it was to have stable female friendships.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you forget something, they lend you theirs. When you lose something, they help you find it. But it’s more than that.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Strong female friendships propel you forward. They make you feel seen, safe, grounded, and heard. Genuine, selfless women will teach you, sit with you until the storms pass, and celebrate your success.

Adulting is HARD, and the biggest lie we’ve been sold is that you have to do it alone. Having a solid support group is a non-negotiable if you want to feell sane, let alone thrive.

The catch? It’s not always easy to form deep bonds, and sometimes, it’s our own habits or limiting beliefs that get in the way of forming new connections.

By 33, I realised there were many times I could’ve been a better friend. Countless times I should have been more patient, kind, and generous.

When I finally cut my own s**t and started setting higher standards, I began attracting genuine, reliable friendships. It all starts within.
