Good Afternoon Ooshies!
Welcome back to Term 3!

Childrens Meeting Conversations surrounded international day of friendship where the children discussed what it means to be a friend, and how you show you are a friend to someone

Afternoons have been spent up on the oval where children of all ages have been working together on soccer skills. Games of camoflauge an bullrush have been popular!

Time inside has seen the children doing brain breaks with just dance and a variety of card games! Puzzles, block building and magnet designs are also very popular amongst all

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
This week the children have been busy with magnet creating, Lego building and Chalk Drawing!!

Childrens Meeting Conversations surrounded National Vegemite Day and discussions regarding what clubs should be introduced in Term 3!

Afternoons have been spent up on the oval where children of all ages have been working together gathering resources to create a nature fort!
Not only have we been playing in the sandpit, monkey bars and equipment but the children invented their own game Grass Marco Polo!

Time inside has seen the children doing brain breaks with just dance and a variety of card games! Puzzles, Tetris and Table Tennis have been afternoon favourites amongst the children!

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
This week the children have been working on our nature fort outside as well as spending lots of time at our art and crafts table!

Children's Meeting Conversations surrounded Mabo Day, Reconciliation Week, Safe Play and National Best friends Day our art table has seen some amazing work reflecting these conversations!

Afternoons have been spent up on the oval where children of all ages have been working together gathering resources to create a nature fort!
Time inside has seen the children doing brain breaks with just dance and a variety of card games! Slamwich has by far been the most popular game this week with children playing in groups of fours, the game helps focus memory and hand eye coordination!

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
This week the children have been focusing on activities that have helped develope our fine motor skills, from french knitting, puzzles and Tetris the children have been engaged in many activities!!

The craft table has seen a lot of activity over the past week with craft reflecting our Children's Meeting Conversations surrounding National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week where the children participated in making some indigenous art!

Children have also been creative with chalk art and block building! In the afternoons the children have worked together building forts! We have a 5 minute competition where all children work together to create a different design focusing on our creativity and team building!

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
Between Beyblade battles, slime making, fort building and all our art and crafts the children have been busy this week!

The craft table has seen a lot of activity over the past week with craft reflecting our Children's Meeting Conversations surrounding World Bee Day, International Turtle Day and creating their very own story books!

Games have been popular afternoon activities from our air hockey table, Tetris to beyblading the children have been engaged in social play!
Children have also been creative with chalk art and block building!

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
This week the children have been busy playing in nature from creating fairy gardens to lizard hunting the children have enjoyed a lot of time on the oval

The craft table has been hugely popular amongst the children with Star Wars being a really popular theme to craft about over the past few weeks

Tetris and Beyblades have been very popular amongst the children with the OSHC room filled with the sounds of children crying out 3,2,1 let it rip!

Our children's meeting conversations covered topics around International Nurse Day, What is Racism and International Day of Families where the children were able to make a family tree!

Vacation Care Snap Shot!

Good Afternoon OOSHIES and welcome back to Term 2!

Our holidays have seen the children busy with a variety of activities from Putt Putt Golfing to learning traditional Bollywood Dances and even Rocket making master classes the children haven't stopped!

Educators are currently under way creating a amazing Winter Vacation Care Program, some children suggestions have included Laser Tag, a trip to the Zoo even a plane ride to the UK 😅

As we welcome back regular programming for Term 2 our clubs have been decided! Keep your eyes out for Cooking Club, Knitting Club and Gardening Club!

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
This week the children have been busy working a variety of Easter Craft from decorating eggs to making bunny masks 🐇🐰
The craft table has been hugely popular amongst the children from mask making, Godzilla drawings to Autumn leaf painting the craft table has been a hot spot of activity in the afternoons.

Children have been looking after our indoor plants as part of gardening club and even designed a dinosaur enclosure in the soil!

Our cooking club will be rolling up their sleeves tomorrow afternoon and making a Aussie classic. Fairy Bread!

Our afternoons outside have been spent up on the oval with games of soccer and bull rush requested each afternoon. Water play has been highly sought out from the children who enjoy having a splash around!Nature play has been popular with the children with them looking for lizards and making enclosures for all our creepy crawlies outside!

Our children's meeting conversations centred around Easter, what we will get up to over the holidays!

HEPS Weekly Snapshot 3.4.25

Good Afternoon Ooshies!
This week the children have been busy from Water Play to French Knitting the children here at OSHC have been busy!

Children have been working continuously on their french knitting creations, with a children's vote for Knitting Club to be implemented next term!

Our cooking club got busy in the kitchen making a delicious Tuna Bake for afternoon tea, the children enjoyed it so much they have asked if we can include it in more regular after noon tea menus going forward!

We have been spending afternoons going outside from water play, obstacle courses to games of the floor is lava on the play equipment the children have been active each afternoon.

Our children's meeting conversations centred around topics of World Autism Day which falls in 2nd April, the children also held discussions around HEPs OSHC Routines and what they find positive and negative about how we run each session. Comments varied from " I like the routine it makes me feel safe because educators are watching me " to " I wish we could have afternoon tea in a park one day and play"
