It almost seems like a mass exodus occurred and we are still reeling from the aftermath all while trying to find innovative methods to sustain our teams.

National Wage Announcement!!!

❗ National Annual Wage Increase Announced ❗

The Fair Work Commission has handed down its decision on national minimum wages and it is a little different to what we usually expect.

💡 National minimum wages will increase by 5.2%
💡 Award Minimum wages will increase by 4.6% (for those on above $869.60pw)

Each year, the Fair Work Commission reviews both the National Minimum Wage and minimum pay rates under awards (Annual wage review).

The National Minimum Wage applies to employees not covered by an award or registered agreement.

Employees covered by an award or registered agreement have to be paid the minimum pay rates, including penalty rates and allowances in their award or registered agreement. These pay rates may be higher than the National Minimum Wage.

If you know your award, the updated pay rates will be available from 1 July 2022 in the Pay and Conditions Tool and pay guides on the Fair Work Ombudsman website.

💡 Employers - are you ready? Have you budgeted for the super & wage increases?

💡 Employees - do you know what award you fall under? What level you are on in that award? Ensure you receive your increase!
