This week at Christian Elizabeth Early Learning Centre, our children have been proudly participating in National Reconciliation Week through a range of engaging and meaningful experiences. Throughout the week, they explored Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through storytelling, creative art activities, music, and discussions that encouraged learning, respect, and understanding. These experiences help foster a sense of belonging, appreciation, and connection to Australia's rich First Nations heritage. We are proud to support our children in learning about the importance of reconciliation and celebrating the world's oldest continuing cultures. 🖤💛❤️

💚💛NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORYTIME
At Christian Elizabeth Early Learning Centre, our children had a wonderful time participating in National Simultaneous Storytime (NSST), an annual event that celebrates the joy of reading and literacy by sharing the same story with children across Australia at the same time. This year's story, Luna Roo - The Kangaroo Baller, brought lots of excitement and engagement to our learning environment. The children enjoyed listening to the story and discussing the characters and events together. Our toddlers group had lots of fun playing a friendly soccer match inspired by Luna Roo's love of sport, while our preschoolers group demonstrated their creativity and confidence by re-telling the story in their own unique ways. It was a fantastic experience that encouraged imagination, teamwork, listening skills, and active play for all age groups.

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea 🌼Thursday 21 May 2026 🌼
Cancer Council Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is one of Australia's largest community fundraising events, bringing people together to support cancer research, prevention, and support services for those affected by cancer.
Christian Elizabeth Early Learning Centre proudly hosted Australia's Biggest Morning Tea in support of this wonderful cause. The children dressed in bright yellow to spread joy and positivity, while the children and staff enjoyed a special morning tea together.
Families generously supported the event by purchasing donuts and making donations, helping create a meaningful day filled with kindness, community spirit, and care for others. Children, families, staff and the wider community raised an amazing $249, which Christian Elizabeth Early Learning Centre proudly matched, bringing the total raised to $498. We are so proud of everyone who contributed to making the day such a success.

Happy Mother’s Day 🌸 2026
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Christian Elizabeth Early Learning Centre.
Today we celebrate and honour all the incredible mother figures in our lives — mums, grandmothers, stepmums, foster mums, carers, aunties, guardians, and the special women who nurture, guide, and love children every day.
Thank you for the kindness, strength, patience, and care you give so generously. The love and support you show helps children grow with confidence, happiness, and security.
Wishing you a beautiful day filled with love, appreciation, and precious moments with those who matter most.

2026 Anzac Day 🌺 Toddlers
The children at Christian Elizabeth Early Learning Centre enjoyed a meaningful and engaging experience as they participated in Anzac Day themed activities. Through hands-on learning, they explored the significance of the day by making Anzac biscuits, creating poppy flowers with loose parts, and listening to thoughtfully selected story books that introduced the concept of remembrance in a gentle and age-appropriate way. It was a special opportunity for the children to learn, create, and reflect together.

It’s a GIRL 🎀
Name: Victoria Elizabeth Zabakly
Date Of Birth: 17 April 2026
In a moment, all the guessing turned into knowing, all the waiting turned into pure joy.
The tiny life we’ve been loving in silence now has a colour, a deeper meaning, a new way to dream of you.
Still the same baby we prayed for, but now even more real in our hearts… because we finally know you.
