Lunar New Year!
The children have really got into the spirit and celebrations this year of Lunar New Year. The year of the dragon, our preschool room created their own dancing dragon which moved through the centre and many of our children contributed to the experiences and programs sharing ways they celebrate this time of year with their families, offering red envelopes and eating various foods, while some explained they decorate the house with lanterns and symbols of fish. Our rooms were decorated with lanterns and the children made various artworks, sensory experiences and listened to stories allowing the them to understand and explore various cultures.

Our Rainbow room welcoming spring with some spring crafts. The children used scratch arts and created their own colourful art, scratching away to the rainbow colours underneath. They also traced their hands to interpret as a growing tree and used their fingers to create leaves and painting around it. Creative way to use their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination
