Guiding boys to great futures

A pioneering independent Catholic Liberal Arts school for boys

Hartford College is Australia's first Catholic Liberal Arts High School in the Western Tradition. It is an independent, Catholic boy's schools in Sydney where boys come to learn and leave as strong, virtuous young men. We can’t claim a long history; it’s our passion, values, teachers, and state-of-the-art facilities that set us apart.

A special day for our Hartford Years 5 & 6 boys, who attended the Sydney Catholic Schools Mass at St Mary's Cathedral to celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lady Help of Christians, Patron Saint of Australia. 🙏

Gathering alongside students from across Sydney, our boys celebrated their faith as one Catholic community. Since 1844, Australia has been entrusted to Our Lady's care - and today, we renewed that prayer together.

Mary Help of Christians, pray for us.

Stepping beneath the beauty of the Sistine Chapel experience at St Mary's Cathedral ✨

Our Hartford students recently visited the Revelations immersive exhibition, a powerful opportunity to encounter art, faith and history in a truly unforgettable way. From Michelangelo’s masterpieces to the deeper meaning behind the works, moments like these remind us that beauty has the power to lift the mind and soul toward what is true, good, and beautiful. 🎨📖
