Looking for a Casual Administrative assistant in Chatswood
Location: Chatswood Library (walkable from Metro)
Hours of work: 3 - 4 hrs a week
Days and Times:
4 to 6.30 pm Thursdays (school term);
4 to 5.30 pm Fridays (school term)
Role:
The candidate will be required to supervise the public speaking and debating programs for students conducted in Chatswood, making sure they are run in a timely and efficient manner.
Keeping the parents updated on the progress of their kids and maintaining attendance records.
University students also welcome to apply.
Requirements for successful candidate:
1. Fluency in written and spoken English
2. Working with Children Check mandatory pre-employment
3. Valid First Aid Certificate preferable or willingness to get one
4. Attention to detail with good organisational skills
5. Confident communicator with high customer service levels
6. Valid NSW drivers license with personal transport facility is preferable

Congratulations to Cornerstone students for winning the recent Rising Voices Public Speaking Competition 2023 hosted by Speaking Schools Australasia.
Samouel won first yet again in the Yr. 3 - 4 Group and Kiara came in second in the Yr. 5 - 6 group.
We are very proud of their achievements and wish them all the best for the upcoming comps ๐

Today, in our public speaking program, our Yr. 1- 2 class were given the task to talk impromptu, describing the drawing on the board for a minimum of 1 min without using sentence fillers๐
