We've had a super start to Term 2 in the Library!

1 and 2 - Exploring and discussing the CBCA Notables and Shortlisted books.

3 and 4 73 of our students have already completed the 2026 Premier's Reading Challenge!

5 and 6 Introducing the STA Library Book Bears. Hazel, Murph and Rufous will be going home with a student in Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 each week to share their reading adventures!

Apart from all of that we're learning the differences between Fiction and Non Fiction, navigating Oliver ( our library catalogue) and building on research skills.

Oh, and borrowing lots of books!

PHENOMENAL performances by our students at the SCS Eisteddfod today! 🌟 Our superstars received the Encouragement Award for all 3 of our dances. A big thank you to Mrs McIness for all of her hard work!

WE MADE BUTTER! 🧈✨

Stage 3 had so much fun in Science on Friday investigating states of matter by turning a liquid into a solid by making our own butter! We also explored how different solids react with water and of course enjoyed a little taste test on bread with hundreds & thousands 🍞🔬

Yesterday marked day one of our training program with AUS Football. Huge effort from all students from Kindy through to Year 6.
