Lulu & Matt 🤎

We spent the day in the comfort of their lounge room, talking through the birth of their first son, Leo, and learning and preparing for the birth ahead.

There were lots of laughs, a few tears and so many beautiful conversations. Space to reflect on their first experience, ask questions and explore what they’d like this birth to look and feel like.

By the end of the day, they felt so much more excited, prepared and supported as they get ready to welcome their next little love.

Thanks for having me Lulu & Matt, it’s such a privilege to be welcomed into your home and trusted with your birth education.

When Ethan and Elysia booked into Kaia Birth, they were preparing for a vaginal birth. But when their plans changed and they needed a C-section, they could no longer attend the course as planned.

And it got me thinking…

What happens to all the parents who find themselves in the same position? The ones who know how their baby is going to be born, but still have so much they want to understand about what comes next.

So, instead of letting their birth education end there, I created something new.

JAGGER’S BIRTH STORY 🤎

I’ve been a part of every one of Alex and Beau’s births, so when I got the call asking me to be their doula again… you bet I said yes!

From the very moment Alex saw that positive test, to being on speaker helping her advocate to stay in the bath just moments before Jagger arrived. And everything that came after.

There was so much emotion throughout this pregnancy, birth and especially postpartum. Advocating through the night, check-ins, tears, laughter and, of course, El Jannah.

It’s hard to put into words what it means to walk alongside a family like this. To be invited back, to know their story, and to be someone they turn to through such big moments.

Alex and Beau, thank you for trusting me again. Your three girls hold such a special place in my heart 🤎

Tom & Millie 🤍

We had the best time together on Monday with a private, in-home Kaia Birth course, tailored exactly to their pregnancy and birth.

nailed every quiz (luckily, because there weren’t any other dads there to answer for him! He was a pro actually), relaxed into her instincts, teared up at every birth video, sighed a sigh of relief when Tom learnt the hip squeeze and rebozo, and we laughed along the way.

It’s so special being trusted with expecting parents’ birth prep, especially being invited into their home to personalise the course even more.

Gabby was having way too much fun with her Newcastle couples yesterday that we forgot the group pic! So here are a few little snippets instead ✨

Birth goals, rebozo, trying out birth positions and practising wrapping their babies… with homemade chocolate dates from Gabby to keep everyone going 🤎🥹

SEPTEMBER • SYDNEY 🤎

Sunday was spent preparing for birth with 11 incredible couples - including a beautiful mama preparing for her VBAC ✨

A day filled with movement, birth positions, practical tools, questions, lots of laughs… and, of course, Tim Tams.

We talked through the big moments, the unexpected moments and everything in between, helping each couple feel informed, confident and ready to work as a team.

Thank you once again Sydney, I love being back in the Hawkesbury at our forever home Yoga Bare Hawkesbury and educating this beautiful community 🤰🏽 🤎

CENTRAL COAST • SEPTEMBER 🤎

We had soooo much fun chatting all things birth and preparing together on Saturday! ✨

Our beautiful group included first, second and third-time parents, preparing to birth at home and across both public and private hospitals. 🤰🏽

Bec and Bob prepared for their first birth with me over Zoom during COVID, almost five years ago - so having them back in the room, learning all the latest advice and preparing for their third birth, was incredibly special. 🤎

Thank you all for choosing Kaia Birth. I genuinely can’t wait to hear your birth stories!
