Many of you have been supported, educated and held by our beautiful Jane over the years… and today she turns 30! 🤎✨

From guiding countless couples through pregnancy and birth, to offering calm, wisdom and genuine care, Jane has been such a special part of the Kaia Birth family.

She has touched so many lives, and we know so many of you have fond memories of being taught and supported by her.

“In a moment of chaos, we felt so calm.”

When Elise sent me this message alongside this photo, I was instantly reminded why we do what we do.

This beautiful moment captures Elise, Ricky and their precious daughter together skin-to-skin before she was admitted to NICU.

Not the start they had imagined.

But in the midst of uncertainty, there was calm. There was connection. There was confidence.

Because birth preparation isn’t about guaranteeing a certain type of birth.

It’s about preparing families for however their birth unfolds.

At Kaia Birth, we don’t just teach one type of birth. We prepare you for induction, epidurals, caesareans, physiological birth, assisted birth and those unexpected moments that nobody can predict.

Because a positive birth isn’t defined by how your baby arrives.

It’s about how you feel through the experience.

And I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Some birth stories stay with you forever, and this will always be one of them. 🤎

Welcoming beautiful baby George into the world, surrounded by so much love, trust and support.

The day began quietly. At 11am, Gabby was filming content for Kaia Birth when she felt her very first contraction. Shortly afterwards, she called me and I remember saying, “No more work. Time to relax and welcome your baby.” I quickly called and cancelled the pregnancy massage I’d gifted her with Ngaya Wellness Massage and Recovery because our girl was in labour. 🥹

What followed was one of the most beautiful birth stories I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing from afar.

Gabby and Zac had attended our Newcastle class together in preparation for this day, and watching everything they had learnt come to life was incredible. Zac recognised the sounds she was making and knew their baby boy was arriving soon. And when Gabby began to lose her breath during second stage, he instinctively demonstrated the bearing down breath we had practised.

“She copied me, Sheraden,” he later told me.

And she did.

After holding Gabby through pregnancy, labour and beyond, Zac welcomed his son with his own hands, catching baby George and placing him into his mother’s arms. There is something so incredibly special about that.

And Gabby…

You are just magical.

To witness the way you surrendered to labour with such calm, trust and grace was breathtaking. You moved like a wave, never fighting what your body was doing, simply trusting and allowing. It was powerful, instinctive and so beautifully you.

Thank you both for sharing such a sacred chapter of your lives with all of us.

Baby George, you are already so deeply loved.

We spent the day diving into birth physiology, pain relief options, partner support and advocacy — all with plenty of laughs along the way.

A special mention to guest midwife Kez from KEZ | Birth Kits | Birth Pools | who joined us with her wife to prepare for the arrival of their second baby boy. Such an honour to educate those doing angel work every single day 👏🏼🤎

KAIA BIRTH ~ Central Coast Birth Education ~ Birth Class

Yesterday I shared Maddie’s story, travelling from Orange to Newcastle for our Kaia Birth • Birth Classes • Sydney, Central Coast & Newcastle class. Surprised when she told her midwife in Orange about her class, they knew all about Kaia Birth.

And today, another beautiful reminder of the power of this community 🤎

I received an SOS phone call from a mum who had attended her hospital classes and left feeling… terrified.

She’d gone in knowing very little, and came out knowing bits and pieces, but without understanding the stages of labour, breathing techniques, natural pain relief options, or how to actually work with her body and feel confident.

At her next appointment, the midwife asked how she was feeling and suggested Kaia Birth.

With less than four weeks until her due date, she called hoping we might somehow squeeze her in.

Thankfully, we could 🤎

She’s joining this weekend’s Central Coast Birthing Class via Zoom.

FULL CIRCLE ✨ She already knew our brand because she’d bought our Kaia Balm from Rouse Hill Town Centre (GRO32) and recognised the logo.
