πImpostor Syndrome: Debunkedπ‘
Ever feel like a fraud, despite your accomplishments?
At the workplace, it may look like this:
Hesitating to apply for promotions or take on new challenges, despite being qualified.ππ€
Feeling like your success is due to luck or timing, rather than your own skills and efforts.πβ³
Constantly worrying about making mistakes, and being overly critical of your own performance.πββοΈπ
Feeling an intense fear of failure.πββοΈπ
Impostor syndrome isn't a disease or a permanent condition, nor does it mean there's something wrong with you.π«βπ Instead, it's a sign of growth. It shows you're pushing boundaries and stepping out of your comfort zone.πͺπ±π

What we choose to tolerate sets the boundaries for our lives. Remember, if we don't change it, we're effectively choosing it. ππβ
Inaction is an action in itself. It's an acceptance of the status quo, of things just "being" the way they are. But here's the thing - we have the power to choose differently! πͺπ―
So, think about what you're tolerating in your life right now. Whether it's in your personal relationships, your work environment, or within yourself, consider if it's really what you want. If not, it's time to choose change. π€π‘π

"Equality is a myth, and for some reason, everyone accepts the fact that women don't make as much money as men do." - Beyonce π¬π
Let's change this! πͺ
While pay transparency is a start, true change comes when we stop accepting the status quo and take action. π«π
It's time to develop the skills we need to take control, from self-advocacy to negotiation and other self-leadership capabilities.

π A fixed mindset kills the capacity for growth.
For women in particular, a fixed mindset can impact our ability to tolerate uncertainty, solve problems, access resources, make meaning from failure, and generate solutions.
"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." - Henry Ford π¬π§
When you find yourself stuck in a fixed mindset, do this:
1οΈβ£ Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth
2οΈβ£ View mistakes as learning experiences, not failures
3οΈβ£ Believe that your abilities can be developed through dedication and practice
