Our Year 2 students enjoyed a fabulous Incursion today as part of their learning in Geography this term. 🙌👊

They explored the natural and human features of Australia, what makes them special and how our use of technology has impacted our use of places. 🌳🌻🦅

Year 2 enjoyed practising their addition and subtraction skills using games coded by our Instructional Specialist Ms Lenehan today. ⭐️✨

Ms Lenehan recently visited Edutech and has brought back her experience to enhance the learning in our classrooms! 💻👊

Even though the weather looked a little dodgy we soldiered ahead and had a lot of fun while learning new skills. ☁️🏃🏾✨

✨ Congratulations to the wonderful students from our Ryde Gladesville Catholic Parish who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend! ✨

As the third Sacrament of Initiation, Confirmation strengthens and deepens the grace first received in Baptism, sealing each candidate with the gift of the Holy Spirit and calling them into a fuller life of faith. 🕊️❤️

We are very much looking forward to our Vinnies Winter Appeal PJ Day on Friday 🧤🧣🧦, our Family Parish Mass ⛪️ on Saturday and our Gladesville Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser on Sunday! 🌭

We're looking forward to a great week of learning and community involvement at OLQP this week. ✨🥰

Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their Planetarium Incursion as part of their Science and Technology learning today. 🪐

They had the opportunity to explore the planets and stars up close and personal in the special space dome. ⭐️🌟💫

A huge thank you to Gary from Starr’s Planetarium for keeping our students engaged and to Mr Cohen and Mrs Scoullar for organising such a great learning opportunity. 🙏🏼👊⭐️

Our Year 6 students spent a truly meaningful day preparing for their Sacrament of Confirmation. They began with Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, creating a beautiful foundation for reflection and spiritual growth. ✝️⛪️

Father Steve spent time with the students, sharing powerful moments from his own life where he has witnessed the Holy Spirit at work. His stories brought the gifts of the Spirit to life in a way the students will carry with them forever. 🔥💨

Mr Cohen, our Executive Principal of both schools also spoke with the students about the special gifts of the Holy Spirit and how these gifts can guide them as they continue to grow in faith, courage, and compassion. 🥰

A heartfelt thank you to St Charles' Catholic Primary School Ryde for hosting OLQP for the day. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together as the Ryde Gladesville Catholic Parish. 🙌🌟

We are so grateful to our RECs Mr Rath and Ms Bregolin for prioritising and leading faith formation for our students at OLQP and St Charles. ✨✨

Ms Lenehan, our Instructional Specialist, has been working in Kindy during their Numeracy lessons. 🙌🌟

Not only have they been practising some new classroom routines like traffic lights and whisper bubbles, they have been mastering their teen numbers! 🤫🚦👊
