MQCR's Professor Lyndsey Nickels and colleagues have just published a new paper entitled "Single case studies are a powerful tool for developing, testing and extending theories" in Nature Reviews Psychology. In it, they argue that you don’t have to study large groups of participants to be able to make an important impact on our understanding of cognition.

The SSSR conference is always jam-packed with amazing reading science, and SSSR2023 will be no exception! Mark your calendars for July 19th to 23rd, 2023.

The conference organisers – Professors Genevieve McArthur, Anne Castles and Rauno Parrila – have chosen an amazing location: the Sheraton Mirage Resort in Port Douglas, Queesland, Australia.

There will be lots of opportunities for swimming and walks along the stunning Four Mile Beach.

The conference is on the doorstep of one of the seven great wonders of the natural world – The Great Barrier Reef. It’s arguably the best place in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving!

The Daintree Rainforest is the oldest rainforest in the world and the largest rainforest in Australia. It’s also on the doorstep of beautiful Port Douglas.

Or perhaps you’d like to look at some of the cute local wildlife, or take in a round of golf?
